For me, both Sig and Edgar have that 'something', but Edgar is the lighter of the two in personality, and by that I mean he's outgoing and not as intense. Of course, Sig has the pressures of being captain and finding the crab on him, which must be huge and would surely weigh me down if it were my responsibility to make the boat pay out well, trip after trip!
It's too bad that Norman is camera-shy; his two brothers are so outgoing, and being the middle child, Norman may be a more private person.

One of the things that strikes me most about Edgar (beyond his good looks ;) ) is how smart he is. And it makes me sad when I hear him say in interviews that he wants his kids to go to college and "be somebody" or "make something of themselves". I think Edgar should be more than proud of how his life has turned out, and I think he is SOMEBODY and he has MADE SOMETHING OF HIMSELF.

Edgar did not finish High School, so I do think that might be one of the reasons he said that. Does anyone know if he has his GED?

He is the total package, smart, funny, and extremely talented! His wife is a strong and beautiful women so I am sure his kids will be just the same!

Are you sure Edgar didn't finish high school? He did go to school for engineering didn't he, or am I mistaken? I thought I heard someone say he went for his engineering degree before being an engineer on the boat.
