| Sig a "Bully" LMAO.... He just runs a "TIGHT" Ship!!! Ever notice the nit picking always turns up on the Crew of the NW.... Some PEOPLE....

| I heard the discussion and Sig is definately no bully.He takes care of his crew,he just has a very serious job and wants to make sure his crew takes off and arrives back at the harbor safely.Sig is like a daddy to those guys,figuratively speaking.Edgar did redeem that saying "Sig is not a bully". NORTHWESTERN ROCKS!!!!! |

| I don't think Sig is a bully, i think he is a man who knows how dangerous the Bering Sea really is, he wants the crew to be safe, respect him and his decisions.

| Sig actually seems like an enlightened manager. On a boat like, people can die if they do their jobs right. And of course, there's a lot of money on the line. He doesn't scream as much as Phil Harris (also, clearly, a good captain)...he seems like a very effective leader.

| Agree. It's not like they are out there picking posies. They're doing a very dangerous job on very little or no sleep. The captain has to make sure everyone is on top of things or they could lose their lives (except for Edgar, I think he's a superhero in disguise or something).
