Right now, I suppose the best way is to send it through email: How To Contact The Captain and Crew of the Fishing Vessel Northwestern

Otherwise, I don't know. Doesn't seem like they'll be fishing this summer, so if you can wait until the fall, you can send it to Akutan (also listed on that page).

How to contact the Northwestern

As a small company with a very small staff, we are often in the Bering Sea or working on the boat. It is nearly impossible to catch us at anyone time or place.

The fastest way is to email us. Using email is the best method for sending us a question. We work at answering these when we get back from Alaska so don't be discouraged if you don't hear from us. Currently we get over a 100 emails a day, and while we can't respond to them all. We do read them all. If your looking for a job, please read our jobs page before sending us an email or even a resume for a job. Here's a hint, crabbers don't have resume's.

Send your comments and questions to our Fan Mailbag. (fans@fvnorthwestern.com)

You're right Missy! That is the thread to check on the forum, before sending a care package. I would assume that SSVP keeps the contact page on fvnorthwestern.com up to date as well.

Also, I can verify the fan mail is read (fans@fvnorthwestern.com). I've received a few responses in the past :-)

Thanks! I have been looking for an address to send them a letter too. It would be wonderful to get a response back from them. My husband thinks i am crazy cuz I am such a huge fan.

Actually when is a good time to send a letter to them? It is May now... If I send them a letter now.... would they get it right away or at least with all the other letters?
