Oh, the monitor... Dang, Ryan, you should have told me to be smacking the monitor and not the hard drive! That might explain why my hard drive died such a grinding death.

OMG so I setup my new home office machine over the last 2 days. Let me tell you I haven't wanted to scream this much in a long time. I am also trying to quit smoking again, last time it was only a month and a half. I have smoked for close to 20 years a pack + a day. So this is going to be fun.

I usually go from yelling at the computer straight to migraine headache. No middleman there. Good luck with the quitting smoking Ryan, the only remedy to quitting smoking is to find a hobby that absolutely exhausts you--then you don't have time to think about smoking.

Ryan if you survive the setup with no smoking, then you have it beat. 20 years is a long time(and I won't even go into when you started...tsktsk)

I get so frustrated each time I get a new computer, there is always something going on in the process to make you scream no matter how many times you have done it.

Remember my tip of throwing something out the window, it really helps.

Yeah thats how I quit the last time, granted it was basic training and I didn't have a choice, but I really didn't think about it much.

Yes I was really young when I started, both parents smoked and a good portion of my relatives. It was still my choice and it was my choice when I started right after basic.

Yes I found out last night that estrogen will probably be the reason I scream the most in the coming few weeks.

?????? I'm not going to ask why there would be elevated estrogen levels in your home. I am just hoping it's not your gf's mother coming to stay (if she's anything like my mother-in-law, get out the exorcism kit) However, I will say this. My husband's goal is to quite smoking before the next baby comes; I told him to wait until I was done with this first trimester. We don't need two sensitive grumpy people in the house right now. (and just so no one gets upset...he has never smoked in the house, around me or our daughter. He goes to his tree of shame in the backyard.)
