Body: Rumors have it the NWs site & forums are closing.
People say sig dosent care!

If I'm not mistaken, this message would be from Mike S., and he should know the site's not closing down as we're obviously here!

Re: Christ on a bike..

I haven't heard Keith say anything negative about Sig. I don't need nor do I want to continue to listen to negativity about Sig or the rest of the Hansen clan. If something is up, the powers that be will tell us. Now let's shut up and fish...er post...joking of course everyone ;-)

Re: Christ on a bike..

Unfortunately, that's one of the bad things about the internet, anyone can post anything without any facts to support it. They just need to sound like they know what they're talking about and some people out there will believe. As long as I can highlight and click on the F/V Northwestern link in my favorites and it comes up, I'm good.

Re: Christ on a bike..

Christ on a bike....I am a Christian but I have to say that is one of the funniest sayings I've heard in a while. Perhaps it's the rhyming? Anyway, I have not been posting much lately as I am preparing to have a baby and I haven't had anything interesting to add and I try to only post when I do. Having said that, ditto to MelG and Patque and a few others who have made some pretty darn insightful comments. Rumor is just that and there are seventeen sides to every story. Worrying also accomplishes nothing so I'd just hold tight.

A new baby! How very exciting. Take care of yourself and I wish you only the best (starting with a short labor).

Re: Christ on a bike..

Maybe it is something to do with the Wizard...the Wizard and the NW are rivals and als the Wizard has a forum wich isn't too popular so maybe they tried to take us from here saying that itis closing so we move there...

Erin~
I will keep you in my prayers for an easy birth and a healthy wee one! I hope you are well. As for this other issue. I do hope that we would be given some notice before the doors closed so that we could gather contact information from those friends we have made.
I hope it is just a nasty rumor as this really is a wonderful place to talk Nw, DC, Alaskan news etc.

Re: Christ on a bike..

It's exactly that...a rumor. And I highly doubt that Keith Colburn is aware of such a discussion or bulletin coming from his myspace site. I know his wife is very involved in all aspects of the Wizard's functions and I dont know that she'd be happy to know that the operator(s) of their myspace is(are) posting such things.
