Hey sunshine! I have a question for you when you have time....what do the Norwegians like to eat and drink during the Christmas and New Years holiday?
My parents over in France really like to celebrate the New Years more then Christmas, but here in the U.S. it's kind of the other way around, so I'd be interested in what the Norwegians like to do. Take care

That was a good question , I love to find out bits of information like that so I can tell my kids , when I tell them about other countries celebrating a different way the looks on their faces kill me! I don't think they believe me half the time! lol

Hi guys. At christmaseve we usually have meat, some eat dryed,smoked lamb, some eat ribb and in the western regions they eat cod. Me and my family usually have ribb. At newyearseve the most popular food is turky. To this food, both christmaseve nad newyearseve, beer and aquvavit is most used.Both christmas and newyearseve are days/evenings where we sit at the table for houers, eating,drinking, talking and enjoying the company of friends and family.:):D
