Yeeeeeeah, but some of us Floridians would trade ya!! It's just blasted hot and humid here!! Heat - fine! But the humidity just makes it miserable!

We toured into the Mt. Hood area. There's a beautiful ski lodge built on the mountain. It's old and was built loooooong time ago. We also traveled over to Mt. St. Helens area and then down the coast - Coos Bay, Newport. Awesome trip!!

Ya the humidity can get ya. I lived in North Carolina for awhile and it can get pretty humid there. I live about 30 minutes west of the ski lodge you are talking about. It is a really cool place. It is called Timberline Lodge and was used in the film The Shining with Jack Nicholson. I used to spend a lot of my winter up there skiing and snowboarding.

NO WAY!!!!

The Timberline was??? We visited there - it was so rustic and beautiful! They didn't even mention the Shining!! (one of my favorite Jack Nicholson movies!) That is really cool!
