I'm Kari, and I'm the youngin' in here. I'm 19 and live in a small town in farm country in PA. Unfortunately PA is land locked which means no oceans near me...but my dream is to some day live in Florida. I absolutely love it there. I graduated from high school in 2005 and I was my class' valedictorian, which is my greatest achievement so far in life. I just finished my first year of college...I'm attending Penn State University Berks Campus...Dean's List both semesters. I'm studying chemistry and hope to use that in a career as a forensic scientist.
I still live at home with my parents and all our animals...3 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 gekcos, 2 fish, a rat, and soon to have some fiddler crabs. Some people say we live in a zoo, but hey! i love it!! haha. For the summer I'm working at a local seafood store, Adelphia Seafood and I like to think of myself as the resident crab expert. I love when people ask questions about that area of the store because thanks to DC i actually know how to answer them. haha. I got into DC when the Discovery Channel first did a one time documentary on Bearing Sea crab fishing and was stoked when i found out it was going to be a series. Been watching ever since.
Besides DC i am a total ice hockey nut. It's pretty much my life. I'm really involved with my local pro team, the Reading Royals. I've literally travelled the country following them on road trips (the farthest so far being out to Las Vegas). When I'm not being occupied with hockey you can either find me at a concert, or just at home reading, surfing the internet, or just relaxing!!
Greetings from New Jersey Kari! Where abouts in PA? We go to Strasburg, Lancaster Co., about twice a year. We love it, my son is a steam train freak, I love the serenity, my husband usually buys a couple of slabs of bacon to get us through.
Welcome from Florida. If you ever get to move here you will love it. We live a couple miles from the beach and it is great! I came here a few years ago from Texas and LOVE it. I can hardly remember being 19 it was soo long ago!!
