Hello NW fans! This is my first post to this board, I am looking forward to meeting other fans and chatting about DC and the Northwestern. I just started visiting the F/V sites a few days ago, although I have been a fan since the very first show aired " The Deadliest Season" I haven't visited the sites online! What a dummy eh? LOL Anyway my name is Rhonda IM a 44 year old Mom. Married 29 years with 3 grown kids. 2 boys and 1 daughter. My sons as well as my husband to are all HUGE HUGE HUGE fans of DC. The boys come over on Tuesday nights and watch the show with us on the big screen. It's turned into a regular family affair and we just love it. I have a brother in Seattle who by chance got to meet Capt. Sig!!! Capt. Sig was doing an personal appearance at the place he works. Ofcourse I was green with envy! Anyway I can't wait to get to know everyone here on the NW site. My best to Capt. Sig and the entire crew of the Northwestern we love you guys!

Welcome aboard! That must be nice to have the whole family over to watch the show every week! I have 3 small kids so they would rather watch cartoons and my husband is a gamer. So I am the only DC fan in my house.
Hope you enjoy the forums!
Thanks so much for the warm welcome all! Yes I love that DC has provided yet another activity we can do with them as a family. My boys are avid fisherman and love anything to do with fish or fishing LOL. We live on Lake LBJ in the Texas hill country and they grew up on the water. Literally they could swim before they could walk! Ofcourse its not the Bering Sea by any stretch of the imagination, but given half the chance they would love to give it a try. They have fished the coastal waters of Texas as well, but that is the extent of their salt water fishing experience.
My next trip to Seattle I hope to visit the shipyard and maybe get to see some of the F/V's up close. Wouldn't that be a hoot!
Thanks again for such a gracious welcome from all and I am really looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone here!
