| Hi ya from Western Australia Hey there I'm only new to the world of the Northwestern website and forums. Just thought I'd introduce myself, you may see me regularly on the forum now! Hadn't ever seen the Deadliest Catch until only recently (I know, I know where on earth was Dawn hiding?)... saw the marathon a few weeks back on Discovery Channel and it had me hooked from the 1st episode. The f/v Northwestern is my favourite vessel on the show, I love Sig and Edgar. Edgar is so cheeky (and being cute helps too!) Sig comes across so dependable (but also with a cheeky side). All the crew on the N/w are very hardworking and don't seem to have a fear of anything crabbing or boating. I hope the show continues for a long time to come, and hope the Northwestern has bountiful pots and some good weather. I'd love for Sig and the crew to publish a book of some of their stories from sea. I think so many people would be interested in it too, would be a good little money earner quite possibly. Looking forward to April 08 when the next season is meant to be aired, quite enjoy having Sig and Edgar grace my tv screen.  |

| Welcome Dawn. Glad you enjoyed the Marathon in Australia. Hope it continues after this season as well. The members here are very friendly. The stickies are guideposts. If you need any help ask one of the Mods they are very helpful. Am relative newbie myself joining in Nov. Sure you will enjoy reading the info and posting remarks. NW Forum has several members from your area as well. Hope you have a great time here am glad to have you aboard. |

| Thanks all for the welcome comments. I've been on the forums now having a sticky around, just loving the photos on the site and some of the news. I'm lucky in that on our free to air tv I have an episode tomorrow night, and also on our Digital Service Discovery are currently show the pilot series, the Deadliest Season, tomorrow night (after the free to air tv) is the 3rd episode of the pilot. So I'm in DC heaven tomorrow night!!!! So I'm itching for tomorrow night to get here (even though that signals the end of the weekend for me!). Thanks once again.. :) |
