Hi everyone, I'm a 29 year old house husband from Inverness in Scotland. I have only been watching the deadliest catch for a few weeks. The good news is that it is shown at a perfect time for my little girls naps, so she tends to fall asleep on my chest whilst we are watching it. Our favourite boat is the Northwestern for the simple reason that the Hansens are Norwegian Boys and my family is from Orkney, so I always show favouritism towards Norwegians. The fact that the Northwestern treated the Greenhorn, during the king crab season, with respect and taught and helped him, also made the Hansens and the crew stand out. Saying that after watching what all the crab fishers do, I have nothing but deep respect for tham all. Looking forward to chatting on here and joining in when time allows.
How sweet is that, you watch with your daughter. She must be pretty young if she's falling asleep when the Hansen's are on tv...lol! We'll make a fan of her yet!
Yeah, she is only 15 months old. I bet she is not the youngest viewer, but she does understand what is going on and seems to pay attention to most of it, that is until sleep overpowers her. I'll have to look out a pic of her in her all weather gear and post it on the site to see if they will take her as a greenhorn. I'm sure she would be up for it, she loves boats and rough sea.
