Hello CT! I love to fish, too! I don't do tourneys or even contests, but it doesn't take much to talk me into drowning a crawler! I love Bass first, but I'll always fish load for bear and whatever's biting. I love to Ice Fish, too. I drive the truck on the lake and my fishin' bud, Sue, drills the holes. I love to hear from other women who love the outdoors!

Geez, I thought a led a relatively boring life & had a strange hobby. While all my other girlfriends were out buying shoes I was out hanging with the boys--well maybe that's NOT so bad. (& I do like nice shoes).

To answer Go_Fish. The Mohegan Sun Casino is my backyard--right there over the hill. Yes, that close & they have a Discovery Store there. Always sold out of the DVDS-I had to order them too.

And BadMommy4U, my boys have trucked out to tourn, fish to Wisconsin over the years-I haven't made it yet. They like it. I retired from ice fishing for two reasons. One, being that I went through the ice as kid ice skating and went under and had hang onto the opening & not under the ice. That stuck with me. I'll ice skate, but not water over my head. Second, the last time I ice fished with the boys, I smoked cigars and drank cheap brandy with them and then had to throw up on the way home. They didn't let me live that one down for a LONG time! We fish Striped Bass at home & road trip for steelhead in the dead middle of winter. I give you credit driving out on the ice. I don't think I could do that one.

I busted my ankle Friday (stupid cow that I am!) so my plans on being Edgar Hansen for Halloween fell through. I will write on my cast 'shut up & fish though!'
