Hello everyone!

I am absolutely fascinated with the show.

At first, I really wasn't all that interested in the show. I saw promos for it during Season 1 and thought "Okay, I know it's the most dangerous job in the world, but why on earth would I want to watch a show centered around something I know nothing about?"

It changed on the last show of season one as it was being rerun during the day. I had stayed home for the day and was really just looking for something to make noise in my otherwise quiet house. I turned the satellite on just in time to see the opening credits for the last show of the season.

Wow! Just Wow! It was really neat to hear the stories and watch the boats coming in. They reran season 1 a few weeks later, and I saw all of the exciting things that the show had to offer and I became hooked.

I have a great respect now for what the crabbers go through just to make sure that I can spoil myself with crab whenever I want it.

I'd be lying if I said that I didn't find some of the men attractive, but it's the whole manly thing that really impresses me. A bunch of men willing to bust their tails, leave their families for a few weeks, suffer without sleep, work in dangerous conditions... that takes tremendous guts, and that absolutely impresses me.

I love the show now and am anxiously waiting for Season 3 to start!

Welcome aboard. there is fresh coffee and rolls in the galley.

My interest in the show started in a similar way. With me, I was out on a disaster response assignment, many mles from home, and stuck in a hotel room in a strange town at night. Call me wierd but I absolutely can not stand silence, I get nervous and jumpy when it is too quiet, and so I always have the TV on in the background when I am reading. I discoverd DC and was hooked.
