Hello everyone ..I don't normally join Message boards .but last night I stumbled upon this board and read a few posts ..and well it really looks like a great place to post ( not really a big an of the discovery DC Boards, or any of the Discovery boards for that matter)

well I hope to be able to chat with you fine folks soon so I can learn a little more not only about the Good ship Northwestern, but about fishing in Alaska overall.

I was a message board virgin until I came on here as well and I lurked for about a month before I finally joined. I will even go as far as to say I have never been a fan of any show/person/thing and spent my first few weeks here trying to convince everyone (and myself) that I was not some crazy fanatic. I've recently chosen to embrace my inner crabbing enthusiast and go with it. WARNING These people draw you in and then suddenly, you're hooked. Still haven't decided if that's a good thing...lol
