| Hello from Kansas! Hi, I've been reading the forums for a long time but have been too shy to post much. This is the first "fan site" I've visited, and the only forum I've ever posted to, so I'm new at all this. . . I've lived in Lawrence, Kansas, for almost 8 years now. Before that I lived in Decorah, Iowa, for 10 years--a wonderful little town in northeast Iowa. (Home of the Luther College "Norse"!) But I really consider myself a northern Minnesota girl, and am hoping to move back there soon--I miss Minnesota weather and the Lake Superior shores. Plus I miss all those Norwegians, Swedes, and Finns who know how to pronounce "sauna" correctly! (Kansas people think I have a funny accent!  ) So obviously I love the show, that's why I'm here! Other tidbits: I'm an editor, and kind of a word nerd; I love reading, nature, music, my dog, photography, and of course Jayhawk basketball. Guess that's enough for now. Just wanted to say hi.  |

| Welcome Disa. Glad you decided to join in the fun here. Look forward to hearing more from you. The great inland seas Superior and Michigan always beckon our return. Miss my summer home at 45th parellel by Traverse City. Beautiful and treacherous waters. Have a great New Year and glad you spoke up and joined. Did you get some snow last night.
