Ok this is a book that I'm going to order and might be of interest for everyone including the Hansens - It's a copulation of first hand stories - narratives by the Norwegian emigration (that is people leaving Norway to another country) in Commercial fishing.
It's called:
"Following the Waters: Voices from the Final Norwegian Emigration. An oral history about courageous imigent commerical fishing" by Astrid Tollefsen, published in 2005 by Leifur Publications. It's on Amazon if you want to order it.
