Your last sentence says it all, IMHO. Sig runs a tight ship. He has to for the safety of the entire crew.
Not that I'm putting any of the other captains/crews down when I say this, but...on the NW, you don't generally see some of the mistakes made on other boats (like runaway pots, etc.). I think Sig knows what to expect from his crew and the crew knows what Sig expects of them.
