just FYI: The LaConte was not a crabber, they were groundfishing, some places to buy the book don't define that.
Also, Missy, Spike's book "Coming Back Alive" is about the same boat, just a different point of view. Also, the F/V LaConte was a wooden boat, not a steal boat. I read both books, and they are both good, but I kind of like "The Last Run" better.
